Junichi Tazawa’s walk up music (my tweets: May 25 to May 31)

Red Sox’s temporary closer while both Andrew Bailey and Joel Hanrahan was out, Junichi Tazawa, has a Japanese walk-up music while he heads to the mound and warm up. It is something to have Japanese language singing blast the speakers at the 100-year-old Fenway Park. It’s “Mogura no uta” by Express. Not a bad song, either. I like its very positive lyrics. Here it is:

He is not the first. I know Daisuke Matsuzaka used bunch of songs by Japanese band named EXILE. As far as I can tell, he used songs like Real World (He used the song in 2007 ALCS Game 7 against the Cleveland Indians, and later worked with the band and was in the new version of its music video), then a song called The Next Door (around 2009-2010?) and also Raising Sun.

I been tweeting nonsense since May 19, 2007 (such long time ago, can you believe that?). I put weekly digests of my tweets on this blog, so that I can search for it quicker using my blog’s search function. I tweet awfully a lot about baseball (I am a Red Sox fan, if you didn’t notice), but if you are interested, please follow me at @DaigoFuji. Here are my tweets for the week:
